Centre for Publications

The Publications Centre is responsible for the preparation of the Department ' s editorial programme and the management, in coordination with the autonomous bodies attached to the Ministry, of the publication, distribution and sale, where appropriate, of official publications, as well as the functions assigned to it, in connection with the editorial process, by the specific regulations on the subject. (Article 10.1.o and 2.c of Royal Decree 502/2024 of 21 May, which develops the basic organizational structure of the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy)

It is also possible to consult online the catalogues disseminated since 2009. The catalogue of the year 2009 has the specialty of containing all the stocks not exhausted until its publication.

The catalogues of publications are of an annual nature and include the main publications that are published both by the Publications Centre itself and by the Editorial Units of the Ministry: National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, State Public Employment Service, and State Agency for Labour and Social Security Inspection.

You can see the latest news in the catalogue of the year 2025.

The Ministry ' s publications centre makes available to all interested persons a system for the sale and distribution of publications in paper and/or electronic form.

  • The Work Library can be visited in its virtual mode, or by going to the physical point of sale.

  • It is also possible to visit other points of sale and distributors.

The publications of the Department that appear in the Catalogue of publications and that are not currently available in the Virtual Library, can be purchased through the Work Library and/or through the other points of sale and distributors.

The editorial program is the instrument developed by each Ministry to plan and disseminate its editorial activity, in accordance with the criteria and principles approved in the General Plan of Official Publications of the General Administration of the State.

Next to the current editorial program, you can consult the programs of the last 10 years.

On a quarterly basis, the Ministry ' s Journal provides a space for the dissemination of monographs, research and unpublished articles, which deal with the Department ' s own subjects. It is a reference channel for professionals and researchers, and as such it is included in SCOPUS (Database of abstracts and citations).

All the issues of the magazine published to date can be accessed digitally.
